Our client is a Private Equity group based in Zug.
On behalf of our client, Swisslinx is looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Group CFO and Group Controller on various topics, including cash flow management, financial reporting, planning and analysis, process automation, and project management. This role requires a detail-oriented finance professional with strong IT skills who can simplify complex processes and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in developing investment proposals based on cash planning and liquidity needs, optimizing the allocation across various financial instruments (e.g., treasury bills, money markets, equities, ETFs).
* Support the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
* Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis, performance monitoring, and benchmarking, while identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation.
* Contribute to the enhancement of accounting, financial control, and financial planning systems, including risk management and internal control frameworks.
* Support or lead projects related to IT system improvements, reporting enhancements, and banking integrations.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders to prepare and automate weekly liquidity reports.
* Develop short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, integrating internal and external financial inputs.
* Assist in standardizing financial best practices across the organization and providing necessary support to business units.
* Handle highly sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
Required Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or financial services.
* Strong understanding of tax, accounting, and financial regulations within an investment environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA) is a plus.
* Proven expertise in financial planning, cash flow management, and regulatory compliance.
* Advanced IT skills with experience in automation, data management, and API integrations.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and Excel-based analysis.
* High level of professionalism and ability to manage confidential information.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Fluency in German and English.
* Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
