Job Overview
This role oversees multiple IT projects in collaboration with the involved teams within IT, business, and external suppliers. It participates in the project lifecycle from solution conception through implementation and testing till roll-out and hand-over to operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Planning and Management: Plan and report on projects regarding time, budget, and quality to ensure smooth and timely completion.
* Solution Design and Requirements Specification: Specify business requirements and facilitate the solution design.
* Provider Selection and Collaboration: Conduct the provider selection from Request for Information (RfI) and Request for Proposal (RfP), evaluation of the providers, organisation of demo sessions to the negotiation of the contract.
* Stakeholder Management: Ensure the collaboration between IT, business, management, and external providers.
* Flexibility: Readiness to work occasionally during off-hours or weekends for releases.
Required Skills and Experience
* Project Management Methodologies: Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (agile and waterfall).
* Certification: A certification in project management is a plus (PMI, PMP, post-graduate studies).
* IT Knowledge: A solid understanding of IT.
* Technical Documentation: Ability to write structured technical documentations is a strong plus.
* Experience: At least 3 years experience as an IT project manager.
* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills.
* Presentation Skills: Solid presentation skills to teams and management.
* Languages: Fluent communication skills in English and German.
* Education: Completed computer science or related education (Uni / ETH, HF, FH).
* Team Player: Strong team player with a hands-on mentality and a growth mindset.
