Join us as a
Global Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) 80-100% As a Global Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our Global Accounting & Reporting department interacting in a highly international environment with Schindler colleagues across the Globe. You are a key contact for assessing and resolving complex accounting and reporting issues on Group and local level. Furthermore, you will take responsibility to ensure accuracy, transparency, and top-notch quality of our financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
We Elevate... Your Responsibilities Act as internal accounting & financial reporting expert and advise finance managers on Group and local level
Assess and resolve complex accounting topics, and prepare the relevant documentation
Analyze financial reporting of Group companies and provide management with clear and meaningful information on significant movements & deviations
Ensure accurate and IFRS compliant external financial reporting
Manage external audit process on Group-level and support Group companies on audit-related matters
Prepare and facilitate internal accounting trainings for finance managers
Lead/be part of special projects worldwide

Further requirements may include:
Professional accounting experience in a large organization with exposure to multinational financial operations
Strong expertise in IFRS, ideally gained as an IFRS consultant or external auditor (CPA)
Strong knowhow of efficient use of MS Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Experience working with ERP systems (SAP) and/or consolidation tools would be an advantage
Working proficiency in English
