Job Description
You will lead key industrial and consumer vertical markets in the Americas as a Segment Manager. Working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams, you will develop relationships with stakeholders and ensure our roadmap aligns with segment needs. To succeed, leverage industry knowledge to innovate solutions for customer challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities:
1. Determine market trends and identify potential customers within focus segments
2. Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
3. Cultivate opportunities in key segments and drive design wins
4. Create solutions addressing market needs through hardware, software, services, platforms, and partnerships
5. Promote solution value in target markets and contribute to global segment management
6. Nurture relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
7. Contribute to corporate strategy initiatives
8. Analyze competitors and differentiate u-blox solutions
9. Understand customer service architecture and position relevant u-blox products
10. Position u-blox services within provider ecosystems
Your Skills and Qualifications:
1. At least 5 years of business development or sales experience in semiconductor solutions, including cellular modems, GPS/GNSS, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth technologies, or connectivity services
2. End-to-End Internet of Things systems architecture expertise
3. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
4. Ability to plan short-term and long-term goals
5. Frequent domestic and international travel (up to 75%)
6. Proven track record of revenue growth and design wins
7. Collaborative team player achieving results in a team environment
