This role is part of a long-term collaboration on a high-impact project within the public defense sector.About the Role:The selected candidate will join the Field Engineering & Technical Support team, contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex network systems supporting mission-critical operations.Your Profile - Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience (minimum 5 years).Solid working knowledge of Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.Proven hands-on experience with:VLAN trunking and STP troubleshootingEnterprise-level routingNetwork protocols: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, ARP, HTTP/S, SSH, etc.Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to integrate with enterprise systems.Strong understanding of communication protocols (particularly TCP/IP) and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain data communication networks, including fiber optics, twisted pair, IP systems, routers, switches, and LAN/WAN infrastructure.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, secure network solutions.Monitor and ensure the reliability and performance of the global network infrastructure.Serve as a point of contact for internal teams requiring network-related support.Lead and support infrastructure expansions and upgrades.Maintain documentation including work orders, purchase orders, network diagrams, inventory, and budget tracking.Conclusion:If you're a driven Network Engineer seeking a challenging role in a meaningful and dynamic environment, we'd love to hear from you.
