Freelance HR Manager - Pharmaceuticals - 12-Month Contract - Stein
A global pharmaceutical company require an experienced HR Manager to lead the function on a major project.
The HR Manager will lead the HR function a large capital investment programme throughout the entire project lifecycle into operations on a freelance basis.
Responsibilities:
1. HR Manager creates true synergies to facilitate the achievement of business objectives.
2. Reporting to the Snr Project Director, the Human Resources Manager serves as a consultant to management. The Human Resources Manager assesses human resources related needs and seeks to develop integrated solutions.
3. You develop and implement in collaboration with the management onboarding strategy and process.
4. Represent the company culture and values.
5. He/she will support the relationships with chosen resource providers.
6. You provide day to day HR services to employees and business leaders.
7. You lead and/or participate to varied HR projects together with other HR colleagues working in Learning & Development, Talent & Acquisition, Payroll, and administrative department.
8. Play an active role as the HR-specialist in business projects, implement local and international HR projects to support the HR strategy of the site.
9. Ensure Correct application of social legislation by maintaining in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
10. Support and guide management in the implementation of the various processes.
11. Partner with internal and external teams to fill vacancies in a timely manner and coordinates the recruitment and candidate selection as per Project Director needs.
Requirements:
12. Master’s degree in human resources or equivalent experience
13. Experience working in an HR capacity of the resolution of complex employee relation issues
14. Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organisational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and provincial employment laws.
15. Relevant industry experience a plus i.e. in a pharmaceutical or similar
16. Experience supporting new site set up and hiring.
17. Strong knowledge about social legislation

20. Strong Planning and organisation skills
