Job Purpose
The Digital Finance & Analytics Specialist is pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making across the Digital Finance & E2E PBS ecosystem. By leveraging digital solutions, simulation capabilities, and Predictive Analytics, this position delivers scalability, harmonization, and automation to global, regional, and local solutions. As a crucial link to IT departments (EF IT, CH IT, etc.), Record-to-Report, and GBS, the incumbent enables customer/consumer-oriented digital solutions. This role, part of a fluid resource allocation pool, adapts to business needs and contributes to shaping a digitally enabled value creation culture across the organization.
Your Tasks And Responsibilities
Portfolio Management:
* Oversee and orchestrate various predictive analytics activities and simulation tools to ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives
* Maximize focus on customers/consumers, driving successful outcomes through data-driven products, services, and business models
Digital Solutions Development
* Build digital solutions by piloting, prototyping, and testing
* Create an agile environment that learns from failing fast, adjusts quickly, and delivers on outcomes
* Coding skills (Python, R2, RPAs, etc.) are essential
ANAPLAN Operating Model
* Co-create and lead the ANAPLAN operating model
* Serve as the global ANAPLAN model builder and maintain the system
Resource Allocation:
* Allocate personnel, tools, and budget to different use cases
* Optimize the overall portfolio’s value
Performance Monitoring:
* Monitor portfolio performance and progress
* Implement corrective actions to improve accuracy and reliability
Use Case Prioritization:
* Identify and prioritize predictive use cases based on their potential impact on business objectives
Stakeholder Engagement:
* Communicate effectively with stakeholders
* Regularly update VACC leaders and stakeholders on predictive initiatives’ progress and outcomes
* Adjust the portfolio as needed
Integrated Planning And Financial Performance:
* Support planning, forecasting, and financial performance steering
* Assure an integrated view of sales, operational, and financial planning
Who You Are
* Industry Understanding: Grasp industry trends, market dynamics, and business strategy to align predictive analytics with business objectives
* CH Operating Model and Processes: Understand organizational operating models and processes for effective implementation of predictive analytics
* Data-Driven Approach: Embrace data-driven decision-making and stay aware of enabling technology trends
* Experience: Long-term experience in Finance and Business Intelligence provides a strong foundation
* Strategic Thinking: Translate business questions into predictive analytics tasks for meaningful outcomes
* Communication Skills: Convey complex analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders effectively
* Learning Agility: Demonstrate high learning agility and adaptability
* Technical Knowledge: Possess advanced understanding of predictive analytics techniques (Statistics, Machine Learning)
* This position may be based in Germany, Leverkusen or some other major Bayer sites.
