Responsibilities
* Stay abreast of market changes and rates.
* A good note-taker and problem-solver.
* Ability to learn new things.
* Comfortable using new software programs.
* Ability to answer 30-40 calls per day.
* Take ownership of ensuring there are accurate records of all necessary bookkeeping, client, and sales reports in order to track and communicate the status of assigned goals.
* Tailor risk management strategies and client profiles to reflect each customer’s individual needs.
* Maintain a portfolio of existing customers.
* Spend time listening to existing, new, and prospective clients to evaluate their needs and stage-of-life priorities before presenting insurance plan options for their specific circumstances.
Qualifications
* Must have a Personal Lines Insurance Agent license.
* Quiet home office.
* High-speed home internet connection.
* Be a responsible and reliable member of the team.
* Comfortable with taking a high volume of inbound calls.
* Complete our training and development courses.
* Completing tasks assigned in a fast-paced environment.
* Able to multitask.
* Manage multiple computer programs including CRM and carrier websites.
* Comfortable being on the phone.
* Ability to learn new things quickly.
* Self-motivated.
* Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma mandatory.
* Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communications skills are necessary; customer service skills are helpful.
* Valid insurance license required or candidates must be willing to get licensed.
* Willingness to learn about the insurance industry, insurance programs, and state and federal regulations that may impact policyholders.
* Working knowledge of accounting and sales lead software is a plus.
