Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis Pastry to assist in the preparation and presentation of exquisite pastries and desserts in our Restaurant Radius.
About the Role:
This is an entry-level position for a full-time Executive Pastry Chef who will be responsible for assisting the Head Pastry Chef in managing the pastry department, including menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and staff supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist the Head Pastry Chef in creating and implementing new pastry menus
* Source high-quality ingredients and maintain relationships with suppliers
* Supervise and train junior staff members to ensure excellent service standards
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
* Proven experience as a Commis Pastry or similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Familiarity with kitchen equipment and software
