ROLE
:
1. Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to drive growth and innovation
2. Develop and implement strategies to assess and prioritize business opportunities
3. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop business cases for new opportunities
5. Manage the end-to-end process of turning selected opportunities into profitable businesses
6. Build and maintain a broad network of contacts in key markets to leverage trust and drive business development
7. Strengthen the company's strategic marketing and business development competencies
8. Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership on growth strategies and market opportunities
9. Monitor and report on the progress of new business initiatives and their impact on company performance
PROFILE:
10. University degree in a technical field and MBA (or equivalent); 6σ certification is a plus
11. Proven experience 5-10 years in product development, B2B marketing and business development roles
12. Curiosity, agility and comfort in exploring unknown areas
13. Genuine interest in customers and what makes them successful
14. Business and financial acumen
15. Demonstrated project management skills
16. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels
17. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
18. Experience in market research, competitive analysis, and developing business cases
