Job Title: MSC Foundation Host
The role of the MSC Foundation Host is multifaceted, requiring a passionate advocate for the MSC Foundation to promote its work and oversee the sales of MSC Foundation selected products on board.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Promote the MSC Foundation, its partners, and programs, conveying their impact on beneficiaries with genuine passion and conviction.
2. Explain the donation mechanism and the power of together campaign to guests, while managing donations and related follow-up actions with gratitude.
3. Deliver official presentations and speeches in formal settings, showcasing exceptional public speaking skills.
4. Maintain inventory integrity by regularly reviewing and ensuring suitability of all on-board communications regarding the Foundation and related fundraising tools.
5. Manage the MSC Foundation Area, hosting and supervising the space during high-traffic moments, ensuring equipment functions properly.
6. Ensure successful execution of MSC Foundation-related activities.
7. Collaborate with Hotel departments to organize promotional activities, such as fundraising events, shows, presentations, and vernissages.
8. Support Nautilus Club staff in creating an interactive environment for kids and youth, promoting marine conservation, education, and health through edutainment activities.
9. Sell MSC Foundation selected products, emphasizing their distinctiveness and contribution to the Foundation's goals.
10. Monitor stock levels, report restocking needs, and provide assortment range recommendations based on observations and guest feedback.
11. Manage sellable inventory, storage organization, and stock levels, ensuring consistent display and offering of products to guests.
12. Track activities, report findings, and make recommendations to the Corporate MSC Foundation Team regarding sales, guest feedback, donations, and other areas.
13. Provide exceptional guest service, resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in Luxury/Premium hospitality or Retail.
2. Charismatic public speaking and hosting skills.
3. Eagerness to contribute to philanthropic causes and make a positive impact.
4. Fluent English, with preference for additional languages (Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French).
