Help us expand the reach of our AI safety courses by becoming a community ambassador.
We’re a non-profit that runs courses on some of the world’s most pressing problems. We’re looking for community ambassadors to help us expand the reach of our Intro to Transformative AI course.
We currently run the world’s largest courses on AI Safety, with a graduate community of over 2,000 individuals working in all the major AI companies, top universities and governments. The course is widely regarded as the go-to location to learn about AI Alignment, and the AI Safety Fundamentals website has over 10,000 unique visitors each month.

What you’ll do
As an AI Safety Course Ambassador, you’ll help increase awareness and attract capable, motivated applicants to our Intro to Transformative AI course. This is a 2-week pilot with potential for extension. We are open to hiring multiple candidates for this role.
Key responsibilities include:
* Design and execute outreach strategies to attract strong candidates
* Document and analyse the effectiveness of different outreach methods
* Provide regular updates on activities and learnings
Location and compensation
Location: Fully remote. We accept applications from anywhere in the world.
Compensation: £15/hour base rate plus £100 bonus per successful referral who completes the course. You will be hired as a contractor and responsible for your own taxes. In the UK, this is usually tax-free unless you earn more than £1,000 from self-employment per tax year (guidance ). You can also do this as an unpaid volunteer for visa or conflict of interest reasons – opting to go without payment will not affect whether we select you for this role.
Dates: 23 January 2025 – 7 February 2025.
Times: Flexible. You can do the work whenever it suits you.
About you
We are looking for someone who is keen to help increase the talent in the AI safety space.
To apply for this role, you must:
* Be an alumni of BlueDot Impact’s AI safety courses
* Understand core AI safety concepts. For example, you might have previously conducted AI safety research or facilitatedour AI safety courses.
* Have familiarity with the AI safety landscape
* Possess excellent written communication skills
* Have basic marketing knowledge (understanding of conversion tracking, UTM parameters, etc.)
You might be particularly good for this role if you:
* Maintain an active presence in AI safety communities
* Have experience creating content for technical/academic audiences
* Have a track record of building engagement in online communities

The application process consists of two stages:
* Stage 1:Initial application (<10 minutes).
* Stage 2: Paid work sample (60 mins).
The work sample will involve creating sample outreach messages to potential course applicants. If we ask you to do this, we will pay you £30 for the time you spend on this.
