MISSION
As the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and oversee the global FP&A function at EMS. You will lead a team of five FP&A Business Partners, ensuring alignment with business owners to drive budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and financial reporting.
This role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and deep expertise in financial planning and business analytics. You will play a key role in optimizing financial performance, supporting business decisions, and driving process improvements.
TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning & Analysis
* Develop and implement financial models, valuation tools, and reporting templates in collaboration with Group Finance and affiliates.
* Oversee the budgeting, forecasting, and mid-term planning processes to support strategic decision-making.
* Analyze and report on actuals, forecasts, variances, and key financial indicators (KPIs).
* Provide data-driven insights to support business growth and operational efficiency.
Business Partnering & Strategic Support
* Act as a financial advisor to senior leadership, providing recommendations based on financial analysis.
* Work closely with Country Managers, Sales, and Product Development teams to assess new commercial opportunities and business cases.
* Develop a generic performance scorecard for entities and track corrective actions with leadership teams.
Process Optimization & Digital Transformation
* Lead initiatives to harmonize and automate financial reporting across EMS.
* Implement best practices in financial controlling and cost optimization.
* Support the rollout of new financial tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to enhance decision-making.
Liquidity & Risk Management
* Coordinate liquidity and capital modeling in line with financial frameworks.
* Collaborate with risk management teams to prepare cash flow and liquidity sensitivity analyses for capital planning.
EDUCATION & PERSONAL SKILLS
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
* 10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial modeling, and business analysis within a complex international organization.
* Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting tools.
* Experience working in cross-functional financial projects.
* Advanced knowledge of financial planning & reporting systems.
* Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
* Experience in leading cost optimization projects.
* Fluent in English & French
* Ability to travel internationally when required.
