The Regional Sales Director r ole is based in the Switzerland (Zürich area) and will work across the Sales territory of Southern Europe, building and executing a plan to meet revenue & company growth objectives through engaging directly with business and technology leadership at customers and partners. This role would suit a hands-on and determined direct sales enthusiast with a clear track record in driving multi stakeholder deals from prospect to close in the highly competitive and fast growing Mainframe Modernisation & Transformation market. Your role The successful Regional Sales Director will have a strong market network and demonstrate an ability to drive pipeline generation and account development activities to achieve sales goals. They are capable of conducting value driven conversations, understanding a client’s need and matching this with our solution, while building account and territory plans. Your core responsibilities Effectively understand the client’s need and communicate LzLabs unique value proposition in a highly competitive market Drive product & services sales into existing and targeted accounts within the assigned territory Work with Business Development & Marketing to develop demand gen initiatives within the assigned territory to build a healthy pipeline of qualified, closable opportunities Develop and execute against a regional business plan to achieve annual & quarterly sales targets in the assigned territory Build and maintain a strong, long-lasting High Value Network within the sales territory Learn & share in best practice with internal stakeholders and support continual execution improvement across the team Minimum 8 years proven complex solutions sales background selling at IT and Business Leadership level (CIO, CTO, CDO) Acquainted with the Latin language region of Europe, namely France, Spain, Portugal and Italy. Knowledge of one or more of these languages is a must Ability to lead an effective sales campaign, orchestrating the appropriate internal and external resources Solid prospecting habits with disciplined follow-up and collaboration with bus dev and marketing Ability to identify latent and active pain in complex customer situations and understanding of solution selling & account qualification methodologies, MEDDPICC, TAS, SPIN etc Demonstrable knowledge of core tech, infrastructure and applications transformation market space Ability to work independently and manage multiple sales pursuits marshalling the wider resources within the company to achieve targets Resilience and determination to succeed in the face of challenges and long sales cycles Excellent networking skills with the credibility to sit as a peer with CIO, CTO, COO, CFO, Chief Architect Strong influencing and negotiation skills with technical and commercial teams (internal and customer) Understanding of the competitive landscape and a willingness to take calculated risks to win the deal Our offer At LzLabs, you will find a dynamic, inclusive, and ambitious working environment where no two days are the same.
