Job Title: Brand Manager
The Brand Manager plays a crucial role in the global brand function at Johnson Controls. This position oversees all brand projects for smart buildings, focusing on brand strategy, performance, competitive evaluation, and benchmarking, as well as planning, integration, and activation support.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop and refine JCIs brand strategy in smart buildings, including brand architecture and identity creation.
2. Deliver competitive benchmarks and analysis for JCI's global brand performance in the smart buildings space, driving recommendations to improve industry standing.
3. Provide governance and support for the global activation of the smart buildings brand strategy, monitoring progress and recommending solutions to address gaps.
4. Engage in key thought leadership and positioning programs that enhance the equity and strength of the brand in smart buildings.
5. Promote global engagement in the smart buildings category, both externally and internally.
6. Educate new acquisitions, joint ventures, events, and showcases about the JCI smart buildings brand strategy.
Required Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications.
2. Extensive experience in marketing and communications, with specific experience in Brand Strategy within a global organization.
3. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work in a team environment.
4. Strong sense of curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit, actively seeking opportunities.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with written and spoken English language skills essential for this position.
6. Strong writing, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
7. Able to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and prioritize tasks with a strong sense of urgency.
8. Available to work from the office in Neuhausen for three days per week.
