What you will contribute to: Are you ready to take up a technical challenge, participate in activities that make sense and get a position in a flexible work environment in the Lausanne area? In collaboration with a group of six people and directly with our CTO, you will be part of a young, competent and determined team. Evolving within a PropTech startup with human values and in full growth, you will contribute to the development of our products and services. To guarantee the best practices in your work, you will also be asked to ensure the technological watch and to continuously develop your skills.
Your responsibilities:
You will help us shape a better living space experience for all and work on many areas such as energy and resource management, shared economy, e-mobility and device optimization, to name a few.
In this role, you will be responsible for deploying product and services updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customers' needs. You will build, implement new development tools and infrastructure, and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies. Your ability to understand the needs of stakeholders and working with software developers and software engineers will ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended. You will manage, monitor, and optimize automation tools for deployment. You will design procedures for system troubleshooting and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. You will test and examine code written by others and analyze results and recommend process improvements to ensure system scalability and reliability. You will support development and maintenance of CI/CD processes for application deployments. You will ensure that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
Your skillset:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
* Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
* Proficient with Git and Git workflows.
* Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
* Experience with automation software (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible).
* Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Strong command of software-automation production systems (Jenkins and Selenium).
* Expertise in script languages (Shell, Python, Ruby).
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects.
* Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
* Aware of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
* Team player and solutions oriented.
* Proactive and autonomous.
