Web Development and Search Engine Optimization Internship
We are looking for a Web Development and Search Engine Optimization Intern to join our Process Solutions team in Switzerland.
Main Tasks And Responsibilities:
* Assist in building, maintaining, and updating website information/features to ensure functionality and performance.
* Perform regular website testing to identify and resolve bugs or issues.
* Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
* Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content improvement and targeting.
* Optimize website structure, meta tags, and content for better search engine rankings.
* Collaborate with the team to implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
* Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
* Propose and implement design and usability improvements to enhance user experience (UX).
To Succeed In This Role, You Will Need:
* Experience with Website builder and Content Management Systems (CMS) platform WIX or similar required. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for designing and building functional, responsive websites.
* Education: studies in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing areas.
* Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Ability to generate and interpret reports to identify areas for improvement. Knowledge of best practices for content hierarchy, navigation, and layout optimization.
* Languages: English required; any other language is a plus.
* Technical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
* Soft Skills: Team leadership, communication, and ability to work in multicultural environments.
* Other: Familiarity with website frameworks or tools such as React, Angular, or Bootstrap to streamline development is an advantage.
