Project Administration Overview
* Maintain project integrity by adhering to the project contract.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure client satisfaction by responding to demands within the contract framework.
* Manage addenda for additional client requests.
* Develop and maintain project planning, including deadlines, resources, and costs.
* Promote timely completion of tasks and ensure adherence to project timelines.
* Organize and document project meetings.
* Implement measures to address project issues.
* Provide regular project updates to the client.
* Coordinate with partners and subconsultants.
* Closing and archiving the project.
Financial Management
* Invoice services according to the contract.
* Monitor and follow up on invoice payments, prepare reminders as necessary.
* Prepare monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) and quarterly Report Available For (RAF) reports.
Technical Project Management
* Coordinate technical aspects of the project.
* Evaluate and ensure the technical quality of the project.
* Making decisions in case of technical conflicts.
Human Resources Management
* Determine suitable project resources.
* Support the project team in their work.
* Resolving disputes within the project team.
Quality Management
* Maintain an updated project file.
* Develop a Quality Plan for the project.
* Coordinate reviews required by the Quality Management System.
Requirements
* Experience in hydropower and at least 15 years' experience from power utilities, engineering companies or consulting companies related to the power sector.
* A positive attitude and enthusiasm towards hydropower.
* A degree in civil engineering (B.Sc. or higher).
* Possession of a Project Management degree would be advantageous.
* Prior experience in managing hydropower projects, including interactions with clients and ability to meet deadlines.
* Knowledge of international contracting (e.g., FIDIC) as well as EPCM.
* Willingsness to travel worldwide.
* Excellent report writing, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in English language.
* Familiarity with French, German, or Italian is an asset.
