SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
You will be the lead Digital Design Engineer in our Switzerland-based ASIC R&D team, designing the digital systems and building blocks for MEMS microphones. Together with the analog/mixed-signal designers, project managers, test development engineers, and other team members, you will develop high-performance, low-power ASICs from concept to high-volume production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work out the digital architecture and design specification in collaboration with the project team
• Perform RTL design & synthesis and supervise RTL-to-GDS
• Develop a digital verification plan
• Verify the digital system and blocks in collaboration with the digital verification engineer
• Develop low-power audio signal processing architectures
REQUIREMENTS:
• Degree in electronic engineering or related field
• 4+ years of proven track record in developing digital blocks/systems for high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits in a consumer or industrial R&D environment
• Good understanding of the entire digital design flow and DFT
• Hands-on experience in designing low-power digital circuits
• Experience with sigma delta ADCs or audio signal processing is an advantage
• Solid knowledge in EDA tools such as Cadence (Conformal, Genus, Tempus etc.)
• Structured and methodological approach
• Strong team player
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English
