About Labview Development Engineer Internship (6 months):
Within Distalmotion’s Test Equipment Engineering team, the Labview Development Engineer Internship is responsible for the development of a new generation of software environment for test equipment of robotic surgical systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Write, test and validate software application using real-time measuring and control test system and implementing features that improve the overall user experience, ensuring ease of use and efficiency for operators .
- Prepare technical documentation for manufacturing & design verification test equipment, including (but not limited to) requirements specification, risk analysis, qualification and user manual.
Work Experience and Education requirements:
* BS or MS degree in a relevant engineering discipline, such as Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, microtechnology or similar.
* Experience with real time measuring or testing system (LabVIEW RT/FPGA or equivalent).
* Experience in a regulatory controlled domain (medical or equivalent) will be a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities required:
* Programming skills in LabVIEW (OOP, Actor Framework, RT/FPGA and GUI).
* Able to read electrical schematics and data flow diagram.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, creativity, pragmatic skills. Able to understand and answer to user needs.
* Good communication skills and capable of interacting with cross-functional teams both internally and externally.
* Language: French, English.
