About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to play a key role in expanding market presence and driving business growth by promoting advanced industrial software solutions for machine integration and automation.
Your Responsibilities
* Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute plans to promote industrial automation and software solutions.
* Client Engagement: Identify and engage potential clients in manufacturing and industrial sectors.
* Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Sales Presentations: Conduct needs assessments, sales presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase value of solutions.
* Tech Collaboration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer requirements.
* Negotiation: Negotiate and finalize sales proposals and contracts, ensuring profitable business deals.
* Market Monitoring: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
* Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry conferences and trade fairs to promote products and services.
Your Profile
You are a results-driven professional with a passion for industrial automation and software solutions, capable of navigating complex sales processes and fostering long-term business relationships.
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience: Proven track record in software sales, industrial automation, or related industries, with a history of successful business development.
* Technical Knowledge:
o Strong understanding of industrial software solutions and automation technologies.
o Experience in selling customized software solutions for industrial applications.
* Skills:
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
o Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
o Proficiency in CRM tools and sales analytics software.
* Languages:
o German native speaker with fluency in English.
o French is a plus.
