Technical Lead Controls Engineer (m/f/d)

Join our R&D Smart Controls department to expand your expertise, tackle exciting challenges, and innovate with state-of-the-art tools and methods while driving continuous progress through technical development of new components and technologies.
As Technical Lead Controls Engineer you will act as technical owner of the controller and modernization platform of electronic components to deliver solutions together with a team of skilled engineers for driving best solutions.
Your New Challenges Include
1. Preparing and coordinating design component specifications based on market needs while supporting product owners with data and technical expertise.
2. Owning the design with full life cycle responsibility, and acting as the R&D advisor for technical queries, clarifications, analyses, and claims.
3. Maintaining and updating technical documentation with new components, variants, and parts in alignment with change requests and project requirements.
4. Preparing comprehensive code evidence reports while releasing and supporting test reports as their foundation.
5. Defining the technology roadmap in collaboration with key stakeholders and supporting Product Owners throughout the product lifecycle.

You excel at collaboration, influence, and stakeholder management, adapt quickly to new challenges, and take ownership with a structured and results-driven approach.
Further Requirements May Include
1. Master’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, mechatronics or similar
2. Proven technical leadership skills
3. Previous experience in electrical engineering/manufacturing and systems integration of electrical and mechanical functions and industrialization
4. Excellent knowledge of design and maintenance of electrical assemblies including validation and testing.
5. Proven experience in preparing technical specifications and documentation
6. Proficient level of English, other languages are a plus.
