We have an exciting opportunity for a FP&A Specialist in our Manno office.
Department Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive FP&A Specialist to join our Michael Kors EMEA finance team. In this role, you will play a critical part in driving financial performance, providing insights and supporting key business decisions. The ideal candidate is a critical thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for driving financial performance while working closely with different business partners.
What You’ll Do:
Budgeting & Forecasting:
1. Assist in the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of the annual budget and monthly forecast processes.
2. Assist in building detailed financial models to predict performance and growth.
3. Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to assess the financial impact of business decisions and potential risks.
Financial Analysis:
* Analyze trends in financial performance and identify key drivers of variances and areas for improvement.
* Provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts with actionable insights.
* Perform expense management reviews to recommend cost-saving initiatives.
* Build robust capital expenditure requests and business cases for all corporate capital projects.
Reporting:
* Consolidate within deadlines full EMEA P&L combining all different Channels.
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports/dashboards to communicate key financial data to management and stakeholders.
* Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational goals.
* Track KPIs and provide recommendations to enhance financial performance.
* Manage Hyperion Planning and Reporting tool ensuring integrity and reliability of the data, acting as main point of contact for different counterparts involved.
Business Partnership:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and influence financial outcomes.
* Partner with departments to align financial goals with operational strategies and to enhance financial systems and processes.
* Coordinate with the accounting team to improve the accuracy of the reporting, providing more accurate and meaningful management information for monthly closing.
Ad Hoc Analysis:
* Conduct financial analyses to support special projects.
* Support on SOX analysis.
You’ll Need to Have:
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
* Relevant experience in financial planning & analysis, or related roles, preferably in the industry.
* Fluent in spoken and written English; other language knowledge will be a plus.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Experience/familiarity with ERP systems and financial planning tools (Hyperion, SAP, etc.).
* Ability to communicate with finance and non-finance business partners.
* Strong commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
