Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Engineer (temporary 6-month contract) to support our operations by identifying high-quality engine parts and ensuring efficient responses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engine Parts Identification: Accurately identify engine parts for optimal data quality in quotations and orders. Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction.
* Technical Support: Provide technical assistance for parts-related quotations, orders, deliveries, and issue resolution. Collaborate with stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure smooth processes.
* Process Optimization: Develop efficient processes and procedures for managing the parts business. Provide expert advice on inventory planning, particularly regarding obsolete stock and design message handling.
* Data Structure Management: Establish and refine code resolution practices for as-built data structures to maintain industry-leading standards.
* Team Training and Knowledge Sharing: Ensure effective training and dissemination of knowledge across local and international teams.
* System Input and Maintenance: Provide insights and recommendations on SAP S/4 HANA development requirements relevant to parts engineering responsibilities.
Qualifications:
* Strong understanding of Two-Stroke engine technology.
* Ability to work in a services-driven environment and understand its demands.
* Field service experience is an asset.
* Demonstrated commitment, self-motivation, and strong team spirit.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
