Job Title: Global Drug Substance Development Intern
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous intern to join our team in Corsier-sur-Vevey, Switzerland. As a member of the Global Drug Substance Development group, you will work with a team of scientists committed to developing and implementing solutions to support the production of new biological therapeutics.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve the perfusion platform process in bioreactors ranging from 2 mL, 3.5 L, and/or 200 L equipped with a cell retention device.
* Optimize parameters for the cell retention device and provide recommendations for operations.
* Program and work with automated sampling systems.
* Contribute to experimental design and participate in project discussions.
* Analyze and present data, and write a report concluding your internship.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
* A Master's or engineer degree in biotechnology or a related field.
* High motivation and autonomy.
* The ability to conceptualize, solve complex challenges, and communicate about your project.
* Excellent team spirit.
* Good written and oral knowledge of French and English.
* Prior experience in cell culture/aseptic handling is a plus.
