Job Description:
You will be part of the Global Business Process Management (BPM) Organization in Roche Service & Solutions as a Global Business Process Specialist for Record to Report (R2R) – General Accounting Accounting Tax Integration.
In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous global harmonization, standardization, and automation of General Accounting processes, including global deployments.
Your Responsibilities:
1. Design state-of-the-art processes within your business area, ensuring global consistency and standardization.
2. Make empowered decisions for your area, aligned with E2E Business Process Management guardrails from the Global Business Process Manager (GBPM).
3. Collaborate with the E2E GBPMs & GBPS network to ensure fit-for-purpose solutions.
4. Support SAP S4 / HANA Template deployment.
Business Process Strategy:
1. Pursue the implementation of the E2E BPM strategy, adhering to guardrails set by the E2E GBPO and GBPMs.
2. Deliver solutions, including processes, ICFR, Authorizations, laws, and regulations, technology, and analytics for your dedicated area.
3. Support business acceptance globally across divisions and functions for your dedicated business process area.
4. Drive and implement the BPM strategy for your own dedicated area.
Business Process Design:
1. Responsible for global and cross-divisional state-of-the-art process design / redesign within your business process area.
2. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure business processes are fit for purpose and aligned with the E2E process area strategy.
3. Define metrics for the processes you work on.
Business Process Governance:
1. Responsible for prioritizing, justifying, and realizing change requests for your process area.
2. Ensure process execution is robust and established as a way of working.
3. Document process requirements, implementation through guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Drive efficiencies and improvements across the E2E network, RSS Operations, affiliates, and IT.
About You:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable education.
2. 3 - 7 years professional experience preferably in Business Process Management, Information Management / IT, Finance / Procurement, Tax, Risk / Internal Control Management, Accounting, Audit.
3. Strong understanding of E2E business process areas and deep process knowledge.
4. Technical competencies in SAP FI / CO, Procurement (SD / MM), Localization / External Reporting Compliance, IFRS Accounting, ICFR, Transparency Laws, and Regulations.
5. Methodological skills in BPM, Six Sigma (DMAIC), agile ways of working (Scrum), continuous improvement (Lean, PDCA, Kaizen).
6. Agile mindset with ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
