Customer Service in Life Sciences
We are seeking a Customer Service specialist to work on our client's projects, focusing 80% of their time on this role.
As the main point of contact for our customer, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities performed by various vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide single-point-of-contact service at customer sites in the Solothurn region, including equipment installation, repair, maintenance, and qualification.
* Offer general customer support, such as supplier escorting and support during visits, monthly performance checks on non-customer equipment according to customers' curricula, and tool management/shipment (e.g., pipettes: collection, shipment, and redistribution).
* Proactively support the lab environment, coordinate with outside vendors, and serve as an intermediary between the client and suppliers.
* Develop and maintain working relationships with Lab Owners, IT Teams, and management.
* Support customers in writing and reviewing internal procedures.
* Conduct GMP document reviews, including FSR and qualification documents (IQ, OQ, PQ).
* Manage the customer's electronic maintenance management system (CMMS) and other software applications (LIMS, Citrix, Empower, Kneat).
* Analyze instrument failures.
* Ensure alignment of all activities at the customer site with the rest of TMO and provide important information to other parts of TMO regarding our customers (e.g., new purchases to sales/lead generation).
* Onboard and train new colleagues on company and customer processes.
Required Qualifications:
* Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician or degree in Life Sciences.
* 1-2 years of GMP experience.
* Familiarity with LIMS, Citrix, Empower is beneficial.
* Strong maintenance background.
* Previous client-facing experience is preferred.
