Historically, the company has faced management challenges and financial instability, leading to a takeover by a major lending bank. Currently, it is undergoing a revitalization process led by industry leaders in partnership with a prominent German firm known for its expertise in coffee bean processing.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a General Manager responsible for overseeing the overall operations, strategy, and administration of the company. This pivotal role involves leading the restructuring, integration with a major machinery manufacturing company, and relaunch of the company's operations. The General Manager will work closely with leadership teams during this critical transition period to stabilize and expand the company's market presence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead and oversee the company’s strategic direction and operational execution.
2. Manage the integration of processes and operations with the machinery manufacturing company to streamline efficiency.
3. Spearhead restructuring efforts to ensure financial stability and growth.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and executive teams.
5. Drive the company’s performance by fostering innovation and operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS:
6. Must be fluent in English and Dutch; proficiency in German is a plus.
7. Proven experience in a general management role, preferably in the equipment manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
8. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing significant organizational change.
9. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
10. Ability to effectively manage cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder environments.
11. Willingness to become an equity partner within the equity share framework.
12. A minimum of 8 years of management experience in a related industry.
