Self-driven and motivated individual who is passionate about research, innovation, supporting and further development of the IoT Lab.
Apply an understanding of software engineering techniques, including software prototyping, systems integration, wireless communications, and computer programming, to provide technical engineering support and research prototyping.
Your software development skills must be ready to investigate technical challenges that the team might encounter.
Responsible for supporting the IoT Lab, maintaining it, running laboratory tests and infrastructure, contributing to research prototypes and projects, and collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and architects from across HSLU and industry partners.
Participate in the development of intellectual property, research publications, and work with industry partners to support the transfer technologies to products.
Your profile
Applicants should possess a Bachelor or Master of Science degree in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or closely related technical majors with directly related experience, strong software development and communication skills.
Have coding skills in multiple systems languages such as Java, C/C++, Python, etc.
Have hands-on experience in embedded software, networking, mobile, distributed systems, web technologies, operating systems (Linux, Windows).
Demonstrated written skills required in the development of technical documents.
Have good communication skills.
Enjoy working collaboratively in a team and have passion for quality.
Fluency in German (both written and spoken) is a plus.
