Located in Vevey, Switzerland, this role is a part of Société des Produits Nestlé S.A.
This full-time position is a temporary 4-month contract starting from April 1st.
Responsibilities:
* You will collaborate closely with the IS/IT and Corporate Services teams to provide legal guidance on procurement matters.
* As a Legal Co-Pilot, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts for software licenses, cloud services agreements, and hardware procurement agreements.
* You will analyze and advise on the legal aspects related to new technologies, including artificial intelligence, payment platforms, and cybersecurity.
* In partnership with the lead lawyer, you will ensure key legal matters are addressed and risks are managed effectively.
* You will manage claims, focusing on business continuity and preventing value leakage.
* Additionally, you will educate procurement managers and buyers on legal self-service tools and encourage early legal involvement.
* Developing best-in-class form agreements and processes will be essential for above-market transactions.
* Collaboration with the Nestrade Legal team and alignment with relevant Centers of Competence will also be expected.
* To protect Nestlé's interests, you will adhere to the fundamental Corporate and Procurement Policies.
Your Profile:
* A minimum of six years of professional experience as a qualified lawyer is required.
* Possession of a double degree or experience in Swiss and common law is advantageous.
* Experience working with diverse disciplines and cultures, along with the ability to manage complex projects, is essential.
* Strong negotiation skills and time management abilities, especially in high-pressure procurement situations, are necessary.
* A solid understanding of IS/IT and telecommunications contracts, technology, privacy, and digital/AI law is required.
* An excellent command of written and spoken English is mandatory.
