Head of Sourcing – Corporate Services and IT in Geneva
We are seeking an experienced strategic sourcing professional to join our Global Procurement team based in Geneva, Switzerland.
Job Purpose:
This role combines strategic thinking, innovation, and global collaboration. You will work on sourcing initiatives, new product development concepts, and more, with the target to deliver exciting and tangible results for MSC Cruises and its cruise guests worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Partner with Corporate Functions to define sourcing strategies for corporate and IT spend, driving growth and value creation while de-risking the supply chain.
2. Build relationships with key suppliers, selecting those with high future potential and the ability to create value for MSC.
3. Develop market analysis and stakeholder requirements to take spend to market, promoting sustainable development actions in line with MSC Cruises' values.
4. Study, animate, and manage global sourcing optimizations across various departments, proposing ways of working optimizations and creating supplier segmentation and relationship management.
Requirements:
1. University degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or computer sciences.
2. 10+ years of strong sourcing experience, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a significant global Corporate Service and IT sourcing role at a director level in FMCG or equivalent industries.
3. Demonstrated analytical skills, data-driven decision making, and adaptability in ambiguity, complexity, and uncertainty.
4. Strong organizational skills, able to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills, comfortable with stakeholder management in a matrix organization.
6. Perfect command of English (spoken and written). Fluency in other languages, with Italian and French being preferential ones, would be advantageous.
