In this role, you will join the SW Platform and IT Infrastructure department, where our mission is to empower innovation for patients. You will collaborate with a talented, experienced cross-functional team, providing best-in-class solutions for complex problems, and work on cutting-edge technology platforms and tools. Our innovative system enables clinicians to deliver more comprehensive and effective care by allowing them to focus on patients and treatments rather than systems and technologies.
If you are passionate about working together with cross-functional teams with the aim to enable application operation teams to develop, deploy, and operate innovative solutions efficiently for customers and patients, and you want to define the future of radiotherapy with us, this is the ideal role for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the design and implementation of IT solutions involving hardware, networking, virtualization, and software middleware for both cloud and on-premises deployments.
2. Collaborate closely with the Product Support Engineering team and provide remote and on-site support and training for field installations and operations.Ensure field and customer feedback is incorporated into subsequent releases and documents.
3. Define service requirements and service plans, and participate in product testing, validation, installation, and upgrade process definitions and documentation.
4. Document processes and technologies for managing the manufacturing, evolution, and obsolescence of the IT Infrastructure.
5. Maintain a high level of professional communication and leadership with team members, customers, management, engineering, manufacturing, education, and global customer support departments.
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
6. You are motivated to learn about innovative technologies in the computer science domain as well as in the medical domain our products are running, such as Radiation Oncology and general healthcare.
7. You are an outstanding problem solver and apply structured problem solving to technical investigations, troubleshooting, and process challenges.
8. Working with diverse cultures, across countries, enriches your daily work and motivates you.
9. You have at least three years of experience withautomating the deployment oflarger virtualized IT server infrastructures.
10. You are familiar with Kubernetes, Windows- andLinux-based systems, virtualized cloud-, server- and middleware software solutions.
11. You are proficient with scripting frameworks like PowerShell, bash and in Infrastructure As Code tools, preferablyAnsible and Terraform. Programing languages like .NET are a plus.
12. You understand the essentials of the modern CI/CD methods and technologies.
13. You feel comfortable to communicate and present in English.
14. You are willing to travel up to 10%.
