Founded in 2009, Altra Running is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. The company started with a revolutionary idea: designing shoes that lacked a height differential between the heel and toe area. This concept was meant to create a more natural running experience.
The Role
The Trade Marketing Specialist will be responsible for expressing the Altra brand across wholesale partners' stores, websites, and communication platforms. They will work closely with regional sales teams to build relationships with retailers, deliver excellent service levels, and support sell-in and sell-out. The specialist will also lead the distribution of marketing assets to wholesale accounts, collaborate with key partners to develop custom campaigns, and analyze results to identify incremental impact.
Main Responsibilities
* Express the Altra brand across wholesale partners' stores, websites, and communication platforms.
* Work with regional sales teams to build relationships with retailers, deliver excellent service levels, and support sell-in and sell-out.
* Lead the distribution of marketing assets to wholesale accounts.
* Collaborate with key partners to develop custom campaigns.
* Analyze results to identify incremental impact.
* Manage trade-focused events from start to finish.
* Oversee the setup and organization of the showroom for each selling season.
* Partner with Store Development on Shop-in-Shop installations.
* Provide quality feedback to the Sales Manager and Sales Reps on customer and market data.
* Responsible for organizing seasonal sales meetings.
* Manage the trade marketing budget.
Requirements
* Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques and practices.
* Experience in developing and distributing content and marketing collateral.
* Passion for data and insights.
* Some experience in managing media campaigns.
* Strong understanding of retail sales analysis.
* Creative thinker with the ability to influence others.
* Embraces continuous improvement by proposing new and/or efficient processes and procedures.
* Fluency in English is mandatory; any other European language would be a valuable asset.
* Ability to be flexible and react to the ever-changing needs of the business.
* Ability to create and abide by an autonomous schedule.
* Experience in public speaking is an asset.
* Team player with a key understanding of cross-functional partnerships both internally and externally.
* Strong organizational skills.
