Research & Development delivers hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people, hearing care professionals, and further related people, in the form of hearing devices, accessories, web services, mobile applications, and PC software.
Developing and testing microelectronics is your passion. Your 3+ years of experience in development, testing, verification and maintaining of ASICs will build further on our success. Embedded in an international research and development team, you will support product creations by taking over responsibility for the digital part of our ASICs used in our hearing instruments. You will use state of the art technology and software to develop the best in class products.
Your tasks
1. Define the digital SoC/ASIC requirements that meet stakeholder needs, including: processing cores, memory architecture & interfacing and digital peripherals definition
2. Contribute to SoC/ASIC specification with external semiconductor partners
3. Verify, integrate & validate the IC components according to the requirements & specification
4. Support IC qualification for industrialization
5. Define FPGA platform used for ASIC emulation, verification, ROM development, early tests including companion chips
6. Maintain the FPGA designs & platforms setups
7. Develop requirements and support schematics definition & PCB layout review for FPGA extension boards
8. Develop & verify the FPGA designs to support prototyping and functional verification of hearing instruments
9. Setup and maintain Linux environment for running ASIC and FPGA tools
10. Define and maintain the HW measurement setups and tools for the electrical verification of the electronic systems/platforms.
11. Support for microsystems related issues in Operations and R&D
Your profile
12. University degree in microelectronic engineering or equivalent
13. 3+ years’ experience in digital circuits design
14. Passionate about electronic design and technologies
15. Experienced with digital design tools and hardware design languages
16. Experience with electronic labor test equipment
17. Experience in Hardware / Software setups and tools for ASIC functional emulation, verification and IC characterization
18. Experience in Linux environments
19. Good know-how in Python scripting and Microcontroller programming
20. Able to structure tasks, solution-oriented and quality aware
21. Willing to work in a distributed, diverse collaboration environment
22. Fluent in both spoken and written English
