Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will align local supply chain capabilities with the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring transparency in supply capacity, addressing constraints, and contributing to demand forecasting.
You will work closely with Operational Procurement and Production to optimize WIP and inventory turnover, balancing cost efficiency with supply reliability. Additionally, you will drive strategic projects in Operations, leading process optimizations, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain. Success in this role requires strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless project execution and strategic alignment.

This role is contributing to the division Motion System Drives in Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
* Aligning local supply chain capabilities with the global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring transparency in supply capacity and proactively addressing constraints.
* Collaborating with Operational Procurement and Production to optimize WIP and inventory turnover, balancing cost efficiency with supply reliability.
* Leading strategic projects in Operations, driving process optimizations, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
* Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders (Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, Sales, and Engineering) to ensure seamless project execution and strategic alignment.
Qualifications for the role
* You hold a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* You possess 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Project Management, with a strong focus on S&OP, process optimization, and supply chain strategy.
* You have expertise in demand forecasting, supply planning, capacity management, and inventory optimization.
* You bring experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification is a plus).
* You are fluent in English and German, with strong communication skills in both languages.
* You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP); experience with S&OP tools and digital transformation is a plus.
* You have strong analytical skills, a data-driven mindset, and a track record of driving operational improvements.
