About the Role:
The European Product Management team in Zug is responsible for a diverse range of investment programs, from flagship private market funds to innovative Private Wealth solutions and bespoke separately managed accounts. As a Product Manager, you will be part of this team, driving timely and seamless launches, ensuring high stakeholder satisfaction, and leading fund restructurings and winddowns.
Responsibilities:
1. Takes full ownership of product lifecycle, collaborating closely with sales, structuring, operational teams, and external service providers.
2. Ensures efficient launch of funds, restructurings, and winddowns, leveraging strong communication skills.
3. Maintains a deep understanding of private markets, fund structures, processes, roles, systems, and responsibilities within the firm.
4. Proactively engages with internal and external stakeholders to assess satisfaction, identify issues, and implement robust solutions.
5. Solves complex operational challenges, finding win-win solutions through effective negotiation skills.
6. Liaises with internal stakeholders, acts as a partner for sales in finding client solutions, and represents operational capabilities assertively.
7. Leads team-relevant projects and contributes to business unit-relevant projects.
8. Reviews output of team members, trains less experienced Product Managers, and delivers targeted education sessions.
Requirements:
1. University degree or equivalent, with a focus on business administration, finance, or economics.
2. Minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in banking, asset management, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, with experience in private equity or another private markets asset class a plus.
4. Experience in designing, implementing, and setting up innovative products and investment structures is a plus.
5. Independent and self-directed individual, able to manage complex tasks in demanding timelines and competing priorities.
6. Ability and desire to train, coach, and mentor junior team members.
7. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment, willing to go the extra mile.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with adaptability to different audiences.
9. Fluent English skills, additional languages a plus.
