We’re a fast-growing startup entering an exciting scale-up phase, seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Specialist to lead our marketing efforts as our first marketing hire. This role involves organizing trade shows and events, redefining branding, enhancing our digital presence, creating impactful marketing materials, and managing public relations. You’ll also collaborate with clients to develop referral materials like videos and case studies. If you’re eager to make a meaningful impact in the clean energy space, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
1. Trade Shows and Events:
Research and identify relevant trade shows, conferences, and industry events. Plan and coordinate participation, including stand design, booth preparation, and event logistics. Set up meetings with key stakeholders during events and ensure successful booth operations.
2. Branding and Digital Marketing:
Redefine and enhance the company’s branding and digital presence, including LinkedIn, the company website, and email campaigns, and set up marketing metrics and tracking. Develop strategies to grow and engage our online audience. Create and manage marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional content. Collaborate with clients to develop referral videos and case studies that showcase successful collaborations. Ensure all materials align with the company’s branding and messaging.
3. Public Relations (PR):
Identify the right platforms and channels for targeted PR campaigns. Organize and manage the execution of PR activities to increase brand visibility. Build relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B or energy-related industry.
* Strong understanding of PR strategies and media outreach.
* Proven experience in organizing trade shows and events.
* Excellent knowledge of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, WordPress, analytics tools).
* Proven ability to write product marketing content for a technical hardware product.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
* A big plus is previous experience in an off-grid energy-related industry.
