Job Description
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time position to join our innovative and multi award-winning Professional Scientific Services (PSS) team. We are recruiting for a Group Leader Position to provide long term technical services to, and collaborate with our client at a Large Scale Manufacturing facility in Visp, Switzerland. Visp is located near Bern, the capital of Switzerland.
In this position, you will be part of the environmental monitoring (EM) and utility monitoring (UM) team. You will be responsible for the PSS team and for ensuring all EM and UM sample processes are managed in accordance to defined procedures and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
If you have a university degree (BSc/ MSc/ University of Applied Sciences) as a (pharmaceutical or industrial) biotechnologist, industrial microbiologist, process engineer with at least four years of relevant work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry and some management experience, we would like to hear from you.
The ideal candidate will furthermore have experience in:
1. Coordinate and supervise a team of laboratory technicians / samplers
2. Supporting quality deviations / CAPA management during OQ / PQ phases
3. Carrying out root cause analyses (microbiological origin) during the commissioning of an industrial water treatment plant
4. Understanding of pipework and instrument flow diagram
5. Supporting sample collection and management within controlled environments
6. Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement
7. Working accurately, and within GMP documentation systems (Trackwise, etc.)
8. Working across teams, excellent communicator and collaborator
9. Fluent in German and English

10. This is a full time permanent position with Eurofins PSS, providing services at the client site
