Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and enhance the technical portfolio management framework for Helvetia Group's non-life business.
* Monitor and support the implementation of portfolio management processes across market units, ensuring alignment with group objectives.
* Provide expertise on portfolio management structure, methodology, and quantitative/qualitative dimensions to market units and group specialist units.
* Identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and risks within portfolios and initiate corresponding measures.
* Manage process coordination between market units and the group regarding portfolio management, including profitability reviews.
* Maintain interfaces with specialist units (underwriting, pricing, reserving, finance, claims) and market units.
* Lead and manage an international team.
Requirements:
* A leader with extensive experience in direct and indirect leadership.
* Proven track record in managing underwriting portfolios and/or portfolio management/actuarial functions in insurance/reinsurance (P&C).
* Experience in profitability and portfolio management across the entire insurance cycle.
* A reflective and communicative personality with a multi-dimensional understanding of success.
* Strong relationship-building skills across different levels and countries.
* Internationally mobile with frequent travel in Europe (30%).
* Languages: German, English, Spanish; French and/or Italian are an advantage.
