Main Responsibilities
* Pilot NC: lead, execute, and delegate tasks with a collaborative mindset, adhering to QMS processes, and monitor PI and KPI with a balanced Quality-Delivery-Cost perspective.
* Analyze, organize, and lead Quality Circles with technical expertise on products and manufacturing processes.
* Resolve NC treatments via 8D, 5-Why (root-cause), and 6M (Ishikawa) methodology at ESS sites, involving departments like Production-Engineering, Production, Development, Industrialization, Purchasing, and others.
* Foster solutions with a cost-risk-benefit balanced mindset.
* Coordinate and hand-over NC-supplier to QA-Supplier team and other related departments like Strategic Purchasing.
* Prioritize NC and related Actions to satisfy clients (contractual requirements), especially in securing deliveries (containment actions).
* Implement and request implementation of NC actions with corresponding evidence.
* Escalate issues due to complexity or blocking point in resolution.
* Follow-up NC treatment, assisting Customer Support, and drive down to closure of NC.
* Present NC resolution during NC closing sessions (e.g., monthly).
* Support Development and Engineering Change (ECR) projects to anticipate issues.
* Participate in Phase Reviews (DEV, Client Realization).
* Lead continual improvement projects (CIP).
* Contribute to the overall effort in Quality and Health & Safety.
* Travel < 20%, mostly in Europe for cross-sites activities.
Required Qualifications
* Master's degree (MS) in Mechanics, Microtechnics, Electrotechnics, Material Science, Physics, or equivalent.
* Deep knowledge in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and surface treatments is essential.
* Certified internal auditor is an advantage.
* 15+ years of experience in R&D, Quality, or/and Production Engineering.
* Experience in Clients / Certification / Supplier audits is beneficial.
* Fluency in English and French, German is an asset.
* Experience in complex problem solving.
* Experience in highly regulated industries is advantageous.
* Hands-on problem-solving attitude with cross-department approach.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Team-spirit, autonomous with continual improvement / Lean mindset.
