Job Description
1. Reviewing a range of contracts related to clinical trials, including service agreements, consultancy agreements, confidentiality agreements, and more.
2. Supporting legal department projects outside the clinical trials scope, including IT tool implementation, legal presentations, and intellectual property (IP) matters, where experience in IP would be a plus.
3. Assisting with the preparation, review, and negotiation of agreements, particularly confidentiality agreements, consultancy agreements, services agreements, material transfer agreements, and amendments, all under the supervision of in-house legal counsel.
4. Participating in internal meetings and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including third-party partners and outside counsel as required.
5. Managing various administrative duties such as contract signatures, filing, and maintaining document trackers.
The Successful Applicant
1. You hold a Law degree (Paralegal, Bachelor, or equivalent) with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
2. You are fluent in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills (minimum C1 level).
3. Prior experience in the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical sector is a significant advantage.
4. Familiarity with intellectual property matters is an added benefit.
5. You thrive in a collaborative, international work environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and a proactive mindset.
6. Highly organised and adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
