The Customer Quality Engineer represents the external customer and ensures that products are manufactured according to specifications. This individual coordinates all quality activities within their area of responsibility to achieve required targets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure customer satisfaction through excellent customer relations and complaint management
2. Serve as a contact person for all quality topics related to customer specifications
3. Maintain collaborative relationships with customers
4. Actively manage customer complaints in direct contact with production departments
5. Lead quality and root-cause analysis of claimed/returned actuators
6. Handle external change management with customers (change announcement, PPAP submission)
7. Participate in audits and serve as the customer voice in production
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field
2. 2+ years of experience in a similar position, preferably with quality-related experience in plastic injection molding
3. Familiarity with problem-solving methodologies using Q-tools such as 8D, Fault-Tree Analysis, Ishikawa
4. Basic technical knowledge of DC / BLDC / stepper motors, plastic and injection materials, stamping
5. Familiarity with test procedures and equipment for automotive applications
6. Proficient English language skills, both written and verbal (German is considered an asset)
7. Team-oriented individual with strong communication and problem-solving skills
8. Good time management and collaboration skills, coupled with a focus on zero defects
