LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Compliance Manager, specializing in the US market, for an international financial institution based in Geneva.
Responsibilities:
* Monitor and assess the compliance of investments made by the front office for US clients, ensuring adherence to relevant US regulations and internal policies.
* Conduct thorough due diligence on investment products and transactions, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements for US-based clients.
* Provide guidance and compliance advice to front office teams regarding US market regulations and compliance issues.
* Collaborate closely with various departments to ensure seamless communication and compliance across the firm.
* Assist in preparing and maintaining reports for internal and external regulatory bodies.
* Stay up to date with the latest changes in US financial regulations and compliance standards to ensure ongoing adherence.
* Act as a point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from internal stakeholders regarding US markets.
Minimum Requirements:
* A degree in Law, Finance, or a related field is required.
* At least 5 years of relevant experience in a compliance role with a focus on US clients and markets.
* Proven experience in compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, and ensuring compliance with US financial regulations.
* In-depth knowledge of US financial regulations.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a collaborative, small-team environment within a global organization.
* Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
