We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Kitchen Sous Chef to join our dynamic Kitchen team at Les Roches Crans-Montana.
Main Responsibilities:
* Master recipes and techniques to prepare and serve menus, ensuring high quality and consistency.
* Use kitchen equipment correctly and safely, maintaining a clean and organized workstation.
* Organize storage areas and oversee regular inventories to ensure efficient stock management.
* Ensure compliance with food quality standards and HACCP guidelines.
* Assist Kitchen Instructors in guiding and supporting students throughout meal preparation and service.
* Contribute to a positive kitchen environment, helping to maintain high morale and teamwork.
Requirements & Skills/Qualities:
* CFC culinary arts diploma or equivalent.
* Preferably 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in kitchen operations and food preparation.
* Strong knowledge of HACCP standards and food safety protocols.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of French is a plus.
* Eligible to work in Switzerland.
