Events Management - Vice President, Geneva
We are seeking a Senior Event Planner to drive events strategy across EMEA. Our Private Bank events team is best in class and offers autonomy to make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop an event strategy aligned with business objectives.
* Create and execute high-touch events consistent with Morgan Private Bank brand standards.
* Become knowledgeable about the EMEA region, including key cities, venues, and local trends.
* Manage event logistics from start to finish, including budgeting, vendor negotiations, and onsite staffing.
* Participate in team meetings to share event updates and strategic expertise.
* Liaise with other Morgan lines of business to leverage shared resources and ideas.
* Manage event communications via our event management platform.
Requirements:
* Detail-oriented and highly organized, with proficiency in Microsoft products and event management platforms.
* Ability to think strategically, problem-solve, and offer creative solutions.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to liaise with senior leadership, multitask, and work under tight deadlines.
* Foreign languages are preferred: Spanish, French, Italian, or German.
* Good attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
* Flexibility to work long hours and travel frequently.
* Prior experience in financial services is helpful but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 10+ years of prior experience in event management related activities.
