Job Description:
An ambitious forward-thinking Swiss Medical Dermatology company has an exciting career opportunity for a Medical Representative to work in Basel and surrounding territories.
Stratpharma has experienced tremendous growth in the European market over the past 5 years and is keen to build a team in Switzerland to further this success.
Currently, Stratpharma has 9 products on the market with a further 5 in development, adding to an already strong portfolio.
The Medical Representative is responsible for delivering consistent performance results within a defined geographical area.
These individuals will promote breakthrough wound care, gynecology, radiotherapy, and dermatology products that launched into the Swiss market several years ago.
Tasks
* Achieving and exceeding individual territory business and revenue goals.
* Providing education and training to account staff.
* Preparing and presenting business proposals including account metrics and benchmark information.
* Identifying key customers and thought leaders within the territory.
* Effectively deploying necessary resources to yield the greatest business impact.
* Developing thorough account plans for all strategic customers.
* Managing territory budget.
* Executing the sales process effectively.
* Delivering sales messages/presentations in an organized manner.
* Demonstrating exceptional product and competitive knowledge in planning and implementing sales presentations.
Organization/Time Management
* Independently planning territory routing to achieve territory account coverage.
* Submitting all administrative reports, expense reports, and business plans accurately and timely.
* Prioritizing daily tactics based on greatest business impact.
Customer Relations
* Demonstrating a customer-centric approach to business planning and sales processes.
* Uncovering customer needs and providing appropriate information and resources.
* Leveraging knowledge of key customers and KOLs to identify the territory network.
* Developing and building long-term strategic business relationships with core customers.
Requirements
* 2+ years of current medical sales experience within Gynecology, Radiotherapy, Wound Care, or Dermatology.
* Experience promoting OTC or Rx products.
* Call points include pharmacies and medical professionals.
* Sales experience within prescription devices or drugs is advantageous.
* Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
* Able to work independently.
* Documented medical promotion success.
* Fluency in local language and English.
* University degree.
