HR Business Partner
The HR Business Partner is responsible for all HR activities within their scope of responsibility, including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and other processes as applicable.
This role requires working with both operational and strategic tasks, focusing on culture, people, and organization. The HRBP must understand business needs and provide support and suggestions when applying HR policies and processes to achieve long-term objectives, ensure compliance with HR and labor law regulations, and add value to the business in required areas.
The HR Business Partner will proactively support management on HR topics, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the business. They will provide coaching and support to management around key people management activities, such as hiring and retention, performance management, employee relations, talent management, learning and development, etc.
Additionally, the HRBP will work on monthly activities and ad-hoc projects across functions and countries (CH, DE, NL, IT, US). This includes:
Reporting & Analytics (Global)
The HRBP will be responsible for monthly HR controlling data management at Global HUG level, including headcounts, labor cost, and HR KPIs. They will also assist in annual budget definition and follow up with the Director of the department. A strong partnership with the Finance Controlling team will be essential to ensure data consistency.
Compensation & Benefits (Global)
The HRBP will manage the annual salary review process with sites and departments to ensure appropriate validation. They will ensure consistency with the annual performance review process to maintain good talent retention. Collaboration with the Global HR team and site manager will be necessary for the annual bonuses process for all subsidiaries.
HR Administration (CH only)
The HRBP will support HR day-to-day business in Switzerland, including contract management, reference letters, entries and exits, etc., with the support of the local HR Specialist.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar Swiss certification.
* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, preferably within a global manufacturing environment.
* Experience leading projects and implementing new procedures.
* In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, labor relations, and legal regulations in Switzerland.
* Strong understanding of talent acquisition, performance management, training and development, and employee relations.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.
* Leadership and teamwork skills.
* German native and professional English skills.
