What you'll be doing here
* Participate in the SNSF research project “Transitions of Baukultur in the context of forced migration: from temporality and exclusion to socially and ecologically sustainable solutions”. The project lasts 4 years and is carried out in an interdisciplinary team
* Develop your own topic as part of a doctorate at EPFL in the Doctoral Program Architecture and Sciences of the City (EDAR)
* Collaborate in the three project modules (historical reappraisal, recent and contemporary accommodations, towards a future Baukultur for refugee accommodation)
* Collaborate in living labs and exchange ideas in transdisciplinary networks
* Publish scientific articles and participate in congresses
What you'll bring with you
* Master's degree in architecture, urban planning or a related discipline
* Initial experience in working on qualitative research projects and knowledge of research methods is desirable
* An open, independent and communicative personality
* Organisational skills and enjoy working in a team
* Good knowledge of German, good knowledge of English (writing publications), good knowledge of French
