What You Will Do
As Head Regulatory
1. Establish efficient standards and processes to track and assess new regulations which are of key relevance to SIX Group legal entities and ensure a coordinated approach across the Group to the implementation of new regulations
2. Provide non Business Unit specific regulatory advice
3. Maintain an overview of key communications with regulators and national banks and prepare, accompany and follow-up on regulatory meetings to ensure the Group is consistent in its communication to regulators and national banks
4. Participate in the review process of consultations led by the Public Affairs’ team
5. Adopt the Legal & Regulatory function (the Function) standards and processes
6. Manage an international team legal professionals and achieve budget objectives
As member of the LLT
7. Actively participate in the management of SIX Group’s material legal and regulatory risks and initiatives and in the setting, monitoring and continuous enhancement of SIX Group legal and regulatory framework
8. Work collaboratively with the members of the LLT to implement the Function’s strategy and key initiatives
9. Act as a role model of SIX Values and the values of the legal profession and in particular: independence, impartiality and integrity. Coach others
10. Demonstrate strong leadership skills
11. Promote the Function internally and externally, including by representing SIX in external events
What You Bring
12. You are a qualified lawyer, with extensive experience in financial services regulations
13. You have experience in managing international teams responsible for regulatory matters
14. You have experience in establishing standards and processes across a group of legal entities regulated in different jurisdictions
15. You are recognized as a leader, with strong collaborative skills, an eye for details and pragmatism. You value simplicity over complexity. You value discretion and efficiency
16. You can act as a change agent, demonstrate courage and a sense of urgency
17. You are fluent in English and German. Spanish is a plus
