Context and Justification:
Provide transport support to the WHO country office staff and drive official vehicles while ensuring that the vehicles are maintained in good working condition.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Drive service vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery/collection of mail, documents, and other items.
2. Welcome official personnel at the airport and facilitate customs and immigration procedures as needed.
3. Perform daily maintenance checks on the assigned vehicle and ensure it remains clean and in good working order.
4. Log official trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities daily.
5. Ensure compliance with rules and regulations in case of accidents.
6. Perform other duties as authorized by the Operations Officer.

1. Thorough knowledge of driving, road regulations, safety rules, and daily vehicle maintenance.
2. Knowledge of first aid; ability to read, understand, and execute instructions and maps in the working language.
3. Drive cautiously; ability to detect and explain malfunctions; perform minor adjustments and repairs; ability to write concise accident reports.
Qualifications:
Education:
Essential: Secondary education with a driving license for categories B, C, D.
Desirable: Training in automotive mechanics is an asset.
Experience:
Essential: At least two years of driving experience as a chauffeur.
Desirable: Experience within the United Nations system or with international NGOs is an advantage.
Languages:
French: Intermediate
English: Beginner
Other Considerations:
Basic knowledge of word processing or other common office software; formal training or self-training in the use of standard office software.
Comments:
The job may require prolonged driving times and lifting mail bags weighing over 25 kg, with associated risks related to weather and traffic conditions.
